Our heart behind our Amazing Grace Event Sponsorship Awards is very simple: we want to help fund your event to increase the AMAZING impact your organization is already having!  This application is open year-round because we know nonprofit organizations are having events throughout the year.  Who should apply? If you are a onetime per week event operating under another organization and DBA “The name on the T-shirt you wear” this request form is FOR YOU!  Serving homeless people sandwiches with donated or purchased food one time per week is a WORTHY MISSION AND HOPE AND GRACE FOUNDATION WANTS TO SPONSOR THIS EVENT OR EVENTS LIKE IT!  Wondering if this award is a good fit for an upcoming event your organization is having?  Email us your questions: hopeandgracefoundation4u@gmail.com

 

AMAZING GRACE EVENT SPONSORSHIP REQUIREMENTS

  • Must meet the Hope and Grace Foundation criteria being tax exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) and that qualify as public charities under Section 509 (a)(1), (2), or (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Population you serve (must pick at least one)

    Human Trafficking Survivors and Safety for Victims

    Orphans and Family Foster Care

    Children and At-Risk Youth Supportive Services

    Family outreach and intervention

    Maternity Care

    Veterans

    Single Parents

  • Able to submit the following materials via email or certified mail with your Amazing Grace Event Sponsorship Application:

  1. Organization’s current 990 tax return

  2. Copy of IRS letter approving your 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status and/or qualify as public charities under Section 509 (a)(1), (2), or (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

  3. Organization Operating Budget

  4. Audited OR Reviewed OR Complication of Financial Statements for the most recent two years. Statements to include a Balance Sheet and an income statement or Profit and Loss Statement. OR 2 years of bank statements signed by Board Treasurer or Executive Director of organization.

  5. Please include a Governing Board Member Contact List with names, email addresses, contact phone numbers and mailing/physical addresses.

  6. Please include a letter of support from any collaborations that you are engaged with or will engage with for the program/project Amazing Grace Event Sponsorship Application funds would be supporting.

  7. Other supporting materials or information relevant to your request for funding.

WHAT WE DO NOT FUND

  • multi-year requests

  • endowment funds

  • individuals

  • scholarships

  • national organizations or statewide or regional branches of national organizations

  • political organizations

  • lobby legislation or influence public elections

  • travel expenses

  • mass mailing appeals

  • sports teams or golf tournaments

  • organizations with less than two years of direct service to the community

  • organizations that discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, ethnic or national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, pregnancy, leave status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, and/or any other characteristic or status protected by national, federal, state, or local law

  • general animal and environmental programs, except for educational outreach programs

Your organization may only receive ONE Event Sponsorship per fiscal year, if you have applied and received funds for this fiscal year you are ineligible to apply until the next fiscal year.
